Dr. Melanie Williamson, an experienced educator and advocate for STEAM/STEM education, brings over fifteen years of diverse experience to CODE313. Beginning as a special education teacher, she innovated instructional approaches for STEAM/STEM subjects. Transitioning to guidance counseling, she provided personalized support to students interested in STEAM/STEM fields. In administrative roles, she led initiatives integrating technology, enhancing programs, and fostering partnerships for real-world learning. With a commitment to equity, Dr. Williamson holds advanced degrees in Curriculum and Instruction, School Counseling, and Information Systems Management. At CODE313, she develops initiatives to inspire curiosity and equip students for the digital age, while also championing educational equity and social justice.
