Orena Perry

Orena earned her high school diploma from Redford High School, Detroit MI, participating in various extracurricular activities such as the newspaper staff, office secretary, pep team called the Spirettes, and the “Strong Songs Teen Reporter for 4 years with WJLB FM.

Orena Perry has received academic certification from American Career Academy in Computerized Banking, Record-Keeping and Finance and Wayne State Job Training Partnership Act in Word-processing. She received a bachelor’s degree from Davenport University for Business Administration majoring in General Marketing, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix with a concentration in General Marketing. With her degrees she has been working with radio stations within the Midwest region, several nonprofit organizations and served on several advisory and community boards.

Orena is a proud mother for five children and Queenie of two grandsons. Currently Orena is the Founder and Managing Member of The Acquisitionist, Incorporated and JEADL Enterprises. Orena currently works with the Certification Review Committee with the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council, board member of Love That Works, Inc., associate member of the National Association of Black Journalist and a Deacon at Central Baptist Church. However, her greatest title is a Child of God.
