Bartel Welch is the Founder and Executive Director of CODE313 and CEO of Red Diamond Digital. With close to 20 years of web design, graphic design, multimedia, print and digital media expertise, Welch is a seasoned veteran of the technology world.

Welch has worked with an impressive roster of clients and is one of the foremost design leaders for conceptualizing, providing art direction, de-constructing, reverse engineering, researching, producing and improving interactive applications. He commits to world-class customer service, high quality of work and meeting aggressive deadlines.

As CEO of Red Diamond Digital he has established it as one of the most elite and well-known minority-owned print, web, and design corporations in Metro Detroit.

Welch has been featured in an array of local and national publications including: FOX 2 News, Michigan Front Page, Michigan Chronicle, Detroit Free Press, Rolling Out Magazine and more. He was honored as a Cambridge Who’s Who and also as a Who's Who in Detroit Business. He is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

As a graduate of Detroit Public Schools he has a passion for the City of Detroit and for advancing its youth. He completed his undergraduate work at Xavier University of Louisiana, attended Wayne State University Medical School, and is currently matriculating in a dual masters program at Walsh College of Business
